Telstra has announced Statewide Appliance Spares as a State Finalist in the 2023 Telstra Best of Business Awards – Outstanding Growth.

The 2023 Telstra Best of Business Awards State Gala Dinner was held on Tuesday 7 February 2023.  There were more than 20,000 nominations nationwide, celebrating and recognising outstanding businesses in 7 key categories. Statewide Appliance Spares were recognised as a South Australian State Finalist in the category of Outstanding Growth, achieving significant growth and contributing to building a more resilient Australian economy.

“The rigorous application and assessment process made us stop and look at the business as a whole and forced us to think more operationally, strategically and through the eyes of our customers”  said Statewide Appliance Spares CEO, David Stretton, “It has lifted our business operations to a whole new level”.

Statewide Appliance Spares were delighted to be part of these prestigious awards and recognised for their hard work, passion and commitment. Telstra Retail and Regional Executive, Amanda Hutton said, “Telstra is proud to recognise our South Australian winners, all of whom should be admired, appreciated and applauded.”

The State Gala Dinner provided an exceptional opportunity to recognise the efforts and contributions of all state finalists. Statewide Appliance Spares congratulates all finalists and state winners and wishes all SA winners the best of success as they progress to the National Finals.

The Telstra Best of Business Awards celebrates small and medium businesses that are making a positive impact within their industry and inspiring the next generation through their ingenuity and resilience.

The seven award categories recognise different measures of business excellence across Australia. Over 20,000 businesses were nominated, with 246 finalists announced after a rigorous 3-stage judging process.

Statewide Appliances Spares are delighted to be recognised in the category of Outstanding Growth and chosen as a South Australian State Finalist. This category recognises businesses for achieving significant growth and their contribution towards building a more resilient Australian economy.

The business has come a long way since it’s humble beginnings in 1985, where they initially supplied white good spare parts to the trade industry. Statewide Appliance Spares is now Australia’s biggest and most trusted spare parts distributor, offering the nation’s largest range of appliance spare parts.

State winners of the 2023 Telstra Best of Business Awards will be announced on Tuesday 7 February at a State Gala Dinner at Adelaide Oval. The winner from each state and territory will then head to the National Awards Ceremony in March 2023.
