Cleaning your pre-filter green (washable) and exhaust filter
Remove pre-filter by turning the outer exhaust filter counter clockwise to remove it. Lift out the pre-filter by the handle.
Clean the motor using the brush attachment to clean off the motor inside the filter compartment. Use a brush only, do not use any water.
Clean the exhaust filter with a brush or running water. Allow the exhaust filter to completely dry by reinstalling the filter. We recommend waiting 24 hours.
Wash and dry filter by cleaning the pre-filter with a brush and running water.
Reassemble all filters once they are clean and dry. Start with the pre-filter first. Then align the exhaust filter with the hollow circle at the top and turn the filter clockwise until the solid white circles align.
Lastly empty and clean the dustbin and remove and give the cyclonic mesh filter a clean also.
Caution! Do not use your vacuum cleaner without the exhaust filter and pre-filter installed. Doing so could result in appliance damage.
Replacing your filters
Pre-filters and fine dust filters should be replaced every 6-12 months or sooner if they are damaged or excessively dirty. Your exhaust filter should be replaced approximately every 6-12 months under normal usage conditions.
How to install your replacement filters
Safety first! Ensure the vacuum cleaner is turned off and unplugged from the power source.
Locate the filter compartment on your LG CordZero. This is typically found either on the top or bottom of the vacuum cleaner, depending on the model.
