How to replace your Miele vacuum cleaner bag
Original Miele vacuum cleaner dustbags are the recommended choice for your Miele vacuum cleaner. Here we show you how to quickly and easily replace your Miele vacuum cleaner bag.
Find the right bag for your vacuum cleaner
First step is to find the right bag for your vacuum cleaner. You can recognise the right Original HyClean dustbag by the colour-coded dustbag collar. Statewide Appliance Spares offer genuine Miele GN & Miele FJM dustbags. These are perfectly designed to fit your Miele vacuum cleaner.
When should I change my dustbag?
We recommend replacing your Miele dustbags every 3 months or so. You can also check the dustbag change indicator – when the colour marker in the indicator fills the display, it is time to replace your dustbag.
How to replace your Miele Vacuum bag
1. Open the cover of your vacuum cleaner. Press the release button for the dust compartment lid.
2. Remove the bag by gently pulling the grip collar. Discard the old bag.
3. Get your new Miele vacuum dustbag and slide into the holder mount. Make sure the arrows are aligned. You will hear a click once firmly in place.
Tuck the unfolded bag securely into the dust compartment. Close the lid of the dust compartment. It will click into position.
